ASE Master Technician. About twenty years under cars.
Boost by the Beach is a veterans charity car show in Stratford, CT, and Built By Ben is proud to be part of it. It brings the local car community together for a day, and it's my way of giving something back to the people who served.
The first year, we donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. The second year went to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), and this year we're backing DAV again.
Whether you want to show your car, help out, or just come walk around, you're welcome. Follow the show on Instagram or reach out and I'll get you the details.

I started out as an engineer in aerospace, where "close enough" isn't a thing. Parts are measured, processes are documented, and a fix has to be proven before it flies. I've carried that into about twenty years as an automotive technician, and I'm a recertified ASE Master Technician.
That's the whole idea behind Built By Ben. I find the real cause instead of throwing parts at a symptom. I use the right parts, torque them to spec, and route things so the next person can follow them. When the job calls for something that doesn't exist, I design it and make it.
The work runs from a brake job to a full restoration, with performance work and custom fabrication in between. A daily driver gets the same standard as a show car.

Built By Ben is in Branford, Connecticut. It's a working shop with lifts, a fabrication setup, and room for long-term projects alongside everyday repairs.
